Luggage Dilemma

My largest suitcase was ruined on my last trip, but I didn't know until I took it out. It has a large rip and there is no way that it would make it. My mom's largest suitcase isn't large enough, so I tried to find another one, but can't find anything similar to what I had. So, I came home with those vacuum seal bags. I am still not happy because I have a lot more stuff to put in and I don't know if I'm going to make it.

I don't know why the airlines cannot take better care of the luggage. They must have stock in American Tourister or something!

We're Getting Excited

Every day Bryn and I exchange messages. She is getting so excited, but we have such a busy agenda. She's going to be exhausted and will need another vacation from her vacation. At least I'll have a few more days before I have to head back to reality!

We received confirmation for our Coba-Mayan Village tour and we're going to Carnival in Cozumel (weather permitting).

My calendar is really filling up too. There won't be a dull moment during this trip!

I'm just about packed, but I'm sure that I'll be removing some items as I'm quite limited. I'll be going to the laundromat often. Annemarie's birthday present weighs about 20 pounds alone!

US Airways Commuter Plane Crash in the Hudson River

Although reports indicate that all passengers evactuated safely, I can't help but being extremely nervous about my upcoming trip. As a Travel Agent, I know that I shouldn't be nervous, but I am.

I really do not like take-offs and landings to begin with, and now this!

I haven't even booked my flights yet and probably need to finalize that today.

I know that everything will be fine, I'm just nervous. I'm going to bring all of my good luck charms....my Scapular, my St. Christopher bracelet, and my little black bear that Liz gave me when I left Hewitt.

My prayers and thoughts are with all of the US Airways passengers. It sounds like the Pilot did an amazing job.

Bryn is Coming!

My friend Bryn is coming to visit February 19-23. She has never been to the Riviera Maya. I know that she will love it.

If she could survive as my cube mate, I'm sure she won't mind staying at the condo with me!
